FAQ: Why does the US version have less memory than the European version?

There are more roads per square kilometer in Europe than in the US. Garmin decided that the Quest should be able to have an equal large area in memory in both versions. Since the density of roads is larger in Europe, it takes more memory and Garmin added an extra 128Mb (Quest 1) or 372Mb (Quest 2). The sizes may look a bitt odd, but that has to do with standard memory sizes. =8-)
