Editing fields

On the map screen you can display a number of fields which show different kinds of information. The Quest actually has two sets of fields, one for routing mode and one for non-routing mode. You adjust each one from that mode.

After selecting Edit Fields from the menu on the map screen, you can select any of the field and press Enter. You can then select what information you want the field to show.
Accuracy - GPSWhat is the current Estimate Position Error (EPE)? The EPE is an indication of how uncertain the position displayed on the map is. So, your position can be exactly what is shown but can also be off by the indicated EPE. Lower numbers are better.
Arrive - DestinationDisplays the time the Quest thinks we will arrive at our destination, the Estimated Time of Arrival or ETA. The Quest does a great job and adjusts the ETA on your average driving style, but can not adjust for traffic jams. The Quest will display "--:--" if no routing is active, thus you selected this in non-routing mde.
Arrive - NextThe indicated time of arrival at our next turn.
Distance - DestinationWhat is the distance to our destination, specified by the curent route we are using. No display in no-routing mode.
Distance - NextWhat is the distance to our next turn?
ElevationWhat is the GPS elevation at this moment? Keep in mind the EPE is 3 to 4 times larger for the vertical position as for the horizontal position.
HeadingWhat is our current heading? Displayed as degrees, mills or a arrow pointer (as set in the settings).
Location (lat/lon)Displays the current location in lat/lon format.
Location (selected)Displays the current location in the selected format (sepcified in the settings screen). This could be your national grid format.
 OdometerDisplays the distance traveled.
PowerDisplays the battery symbol also shown when pressing Power on / Light.
SpeedDisplays the current speed. The Quest's displayed speed is much more accurate than that of a car, provided the speed is steady (not accelerating or decellerating).
Speed - MaximumDisplays the maximum speed reached since the last reset (can be done from the trip computer screen).
Speed - Moving AverageDisplays the moving average speed, the average speed not including the time the Quest is stationary.
Speed - Overall AverageDisplays the overall average speed, including stops.
SunriseDisplays the time the sun will rise in the current location.
SunsetDisplays the time the sun will set in the current location.
Time of DayDisplays the current time.
Time to DestinationDisplays how long it will take to reach the current destination, using the current route.
Time to NextDisplays how long it will take to reach the next turn, using the current route.
Trip OdometerDisplays the distance traveled since the last reset (can be done from the trip computer screen).
Trip Time - MovingDisplays how much time was spent moving since the last trip odometer reset.
Trip Time - StoppedDisplays how much time was spent stationary since the last trip odometer reset.
Trip Time - TotalDisplays how much time was spent in total since the last trip odometer reset.
