Here you find english Scouting documents, created by Robert Elsinga.

The Netherlands, information for the Boy Scouts of America. This information leaflet on the country of The Netherlands was created as a hand-out to US BSA scouts we met when we were visiting a troop during our vaction in the northeast of the US in the summer of 2014. I wrote it to assist the scouts in passing a part of the Citizenship in the World requirement of the Eagle Scout rank ("Visit with a student or Scout from another country and discuss the typical values, holidays, ethnic foods, and traditions practiced or enjoyed there."). It sometimes compares the Netherlands to the US, but most of the info can be used by any foreigner/scout. I put it online so the troop we visited could (re)print them if neccesary, but feel free to use them if you were not present at the meetings we had. I would appreciate a quick note (at Dit e-mailadres wordt beveiligd tegen spambots. JavaScript dient ingeschakeld te zijn om het te bekijken.) telling me who you are and what you are using the leaflet for though. =8-)

If you print the PDF file double sided (flip on short side), you get a small (European size A5, a little bit bigger than half Letter size) 8-page booklet you can fold and staple. Adobe Acrobat can resize the booklet to the size of paper you have in your printer, so using Letter sized paper wouldn't be a big problem.

BSA Merit Badge pamphlets

I have collected a lot of BSA Merit Badge Pamplets from numerous sources, for myself to use as inspiration as a dutch Scout leader. I was kindly reminded by the BSA legal department that they own the copyright and sharing them online is not allowed. Although I also downloaded them, I ofcourse compied and took them off my site. If you are a BSA troop, you can buy the pamplets through your council.
